Mas fotos de Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Buenos Aires in a nutshell is the bohemian city that never sleeps. Topically you eat dinner at 10 pm go out at midnight and stay out until 6 am. There is always something going on. I'm staying in a quaint little hostel of 28 beds in San Telmo run by 5 artists and social workers the staff and guests are great. I thought this would be a good place to relax and catch up on some rest after such an intense summer of studying but no I have only slept an average of 4-5 hours a night. Tango dancing, salsa dancing, cumpleanos, camping, parillas, Eco-villas, politics, mate & late night talks w/ Manu y PAblo de noche , Tigre, Rio Plata, 1, 000ppl drum concert at Konex, people watching in the outdoor cafe , hanging out with the hippies at Plaza Durrego, wine tasting, the zoo, cemetery, art museum, bike riding at the reserva ecologica, funky markets, camping guitars and fires, tango dancing in the streets, figuring out the Subte aka metro, wandering around the neighborhoods with old architecture Palermo, Recoleta, San Telmo, mingling with the locals at their houses for dinner, & enjoying live music. Ah who can pass up the excellent food, wonderful city, & extremely friendly people.

The Peanut Butter Bomb

Are we safe or over paranoid ??

The Seattle airport decided that my sealed peanut butter jar, salsa, and other small sealed candies could be a possible bomb threat and were confiscated immediately, in all the ruckus they did not find the switchblade nor the pepper spray in my handbag. Ah I am so ready to leave this country - except of course I will miss all of my family and friends (you know who you are ;) Adios USA!
